On detecting the presence of somebody in its area of coverage (10mtrs) the Igene voice warning device will deliver a pre-programmed voice message as follows:
"WE RESPECTFULLY REMIND YOU TO WASH YOUR HANDS BEFORE YOU LEAVE THIS AREA"
After delivering its message the Igene will shut down and wait for 3 minutes before waking up ready for the next person who enters its field of view whereupon it will again deliver the above message.
Like the Announcer the Igene comes complete with a wall bracket, fixing kit and lithium batteries (that will support the unit in delivering up to 3,500 messages). For busy areas it is recommended that the Igene be connected to a mains supply via a plug-in adaptor.
