The sophisticated battery monitoring circuitry built into the Icheck unit is supported by its own lithium battery that on detecting either a low battery or missing battery will deliver a pre-programmed message that is appropriate to the detected condition.
I.E. "MY BATTERY IS RUNNING LOW, REPLACE THE BATTERY IMMEDIATELY"
Or "MY BATTERY HAS BEEN REMOVED, REPLACE THE BATTERY IMMEDIATELY"
Of course the smoke detection technology is of an extremely high standard and on detection of smoke the siren emits a conventional 95dB sound that is designed to alert even the most hard of hearing of the danger.
